Welcome to Chi Omega!

On behalf of the Xi Kappa chapter of Chi Omega, welcome! My name is Bella Van Hoosier, and I have the incredible honor of serving as President. Our hope is that as you explore our website, you’ll get to know our chapter a little better and see what makes Xi Kappa truly one-of-a-kind!

I came into college hoping to find a strong, supportive group of women and a steady community in the midst of so much change. During Recruitment in 2022, I was instantly drawn to Chi Omega. I had conversations that were authentic and fun, and I saw women who inspired me, women I knew I wanted to become by the end of my four years of college. With each round, I felt more confident that Chi Omega was where I was meant to be. Since then, this chapter has exceeded every expectation. These women have led me, loved me, and challenged me to grow into a better friend, student, and Aggie.

Chi Omega is full of well-rounded, driven women who strive for excellence in everything they do. Whether it's Student Government, Maroon Coats, FLOs, athletics, or leadership in campus organizations, it’s hard to find an organization Chi Omegas are not involved in. The variety of their passions reflects a shared desire to serve, lead, and love others well—on campus, in our philanthropies, and throughout College Station.

But more than anything, Chi Omega has been where I’ve found the deepest friendships of my life. These past three years have brought me the most life-giving, loyal, and joy-filled friendships. Girls who will be my future bridesmaids and lifelong best friends. I’m forever grateful for what this sisterhood has meant to me.

Choosing Chi Omega was the best decision I’ve made, and if I could do it all over again, I’d choose it every time.

You only choose once, so choose wisely!

XOXO,
Bella Van Hoosier
President, Xi Kappa Chapter

WELCOME!

The Chi Omega Symphony

"To live constantly above snobbery of word or deed; to place scholarship above social obligations & character before appearances; to be in the best sense, democratic rather than "exclusive", and lovable rather than "popular"; to work earnestly, to speak kindly, to act sincerely, to choose thoughtfully that course which occasion and conscience demand; to be womanly always; to be discouraged never; in a word, to be loyal under any and all circumstances to my fraternity and her highest teachings and to have her welfare ever at heart that she may be a symphony of high purpose and helpfulness in which there is no discordant note."
